The VU Fellowship Programme, offered by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, invites talented non-EU/EEA students to pursue a master’s degree at one of the Netherlands’ most prestigious universities.
Through this fellowship, applicants can choose from a wide range of English-taught master’s programmes. The tuition fee is fully covered, allowing students to dedicate themselves entirely to their studies.
The award is granted for either a one- or two-year master’s programme. For two-year programmes, renewal for the second year requires the successful completion of all first-year credits.
Please note that the fellowship does not include additional financial support for living expenses or other study-related costs.
Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year are open until December 1, 2025 (first round) or February 1, 2026 (final deadline). Courses begin in September 2026.
